Leave your windows and go out, people of the world, go into the streets, go into the fields, go into the woods and along the streams. Go together, go alone. Say no to the Lords of War which is Money which is Fire. Say no by saying yes to the air, to the earth, to the trees, yes to the grasses, to the rivers, to the birds and the animals and every living thing, yes to the small houses, yes to the children. Yes.
--Wendell Berry, from the poem Look Out

But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No." For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not "Yes" and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes." For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.
--1 Corinthians 1.18-20

  1. I love Rob Bell and all his quirks. Even the silly glowing digital effects. His message (Jesus' message) of "Yes!" is one that I needed to hear. Thank you.

  2. Maybe the effects are silly, but I didn't know about this church. To take part in the work of worldwide justice, the narrative theology - very interesting. This intentions, while successfull megachurch - fascinating...

  3. This was an awesome post!  I found your site by searching for the lost Gospels of Judas to share with my FB friends.   Then as I observed more of your postings I started being more interested.  Thanks for your ideas and sharing them on the web.  I hope you don't mind me posting your thoughts on Judas on my FB wall in a single post?  If you do mind here is the link to my FB page and just privately let me know, thanks.  ~ Artist FDM
