When We Say 'God Exists' Everything Changes

When we say, "God Exists," everything changes. The Divine Reality is Radical and Commandeering in just this sense: nothing remains the same, not one block and stone on another. The metaphysical Reality of God--His Sheer Objective Life--displaces, overturns, breaks through every certainty, every creaturely form. That is the Infinite Reach of the One beyond form, beyond image and idol. God does not simply set aside our epistemic convictions or rules; that hardly plumbs the proper depths...Something Greater is here. If God is Real, nothing is as before. For there is a Mystery that Lives, that is--Who is!--the Source of Reality and is Reality Itself...He sets aside and remakes our categories, our forms of thought. That is not to say He is irrational, no. The Reality of God is supremely Rational: His is Logos, Utter Sheer Truth and Reason. But Almighty God just is there.
