The Feast of the Nativity

"Nativity"

A baby, yes.
Unto us, a child given.
But more.

Behold the Implication.

An intimate detonation
in swaddling clothes.
The vast,
the particular,
the cosmic and mundane
interrupted, unsettled.
All furniture rearranged.
Everything now atilt.

Listen,
infinity echoes in an infant's cry.
